This month's X3 Artist of the Month is Rural Alberta Advantage or R.A.A. if you want to be all hip and lazy. The X3 artist of the month is a partnership between Exclaim! Magazine, CBC Radio 3 and AUX. It's the trifecta of musical triumph!

Way to show up 2 hours late Theo! Despite Theo's lateness, he did catch a crazy show. With respect to Ursa Major and Gorgasm, who Theo didn't see, Theo caught Titan, Stray From The Path, The Number 12 Looks Like You, The Tony Danza Tap Dance Extravazanga and Starring Jannet Leigh. Spoon hasn't released anything since 2007, but they're back with "Got Nuffin". Read this, grab the disc and check it out for yourself!

Wrapped in an array of skinny jeans, Converse shoes, and leather jackets was one of the biggest music festivals in Canada. NXNE brought an array of music lovers, and musicians out to forget the mediocrity of main stream radio. After backing up the likes of Feist, Jason Collett, and Zeus, Afie Jurvanen (aka Bahamas) decides he has stories to tell with the help of his Pink Strat.
