Follow these 5 steps to get your band noticed:

Step 1: Choose A Name.
Apparently the name Poney Poney wasn’t working.  French born Antoine Hilaire and Flo Lyonnet decided to change it to something a little easier to remember, Jamaica.

Step 2: Write Songs.
Focusing on sleek melodies, rousing guitar riffs and dry bass groves, the duo took three weeks to compile the songs.

Step 3: Record The Songs.
In the Motorbass studio in France, Jamaica enlisted the help of Justice‘s Xavier de Rosnay and Peter J. Franco (Daft Punk‘s Sound Engineer) to produce/record the album.

Step 4: Shoot A Video.
Choosing the upbeat ‘I Think I Like U 2′ as a good starting point, the video outlines the story of the band so far, and how its going to happen from here.

Step 5: Get In An Ad.
An instrumental version of “I Think I Like U 2″ is featured in a Volkswagen ‘Tiguan’ SUV commercial.
