Tomorrow night (August 4) Metric will play a free show at Toronto’s Union Square Plaza to kick off the launch of Samsung Mobile’s premium Galaxy S smartphone. The gig starts at 7 pm at 65 Front Street West. A large turnout is expected as this might be the last chance to see the band play their hometown this year. After tomorrow’s performance they’ll embark on a short North American tour with Quebec City in October with Muse being their only Canadian date.
