Land of Talk is September’s X3 Artist of the Month and we’re excited to premiere their first video off Cloak and Cipher for “Quarry Hymns” exclusively on AUX TV. Shot on location in Montreal’s historic Ukrainian Federation and directed by Land of Talk bassist Joseph Yarmush, the video evolved over the course of the shoot, much the same way the song took shape in the studio. Singer Liz Powell watches a dancer (maybe herself?) as she holds a few clues that can be used to “Put together the clues and unravel the cipher…” Yamush told AUX. Watch the video below.
