Sorry admirers of weird French cuisine, but these Frog Eyes are anything but a delicacy. They’re a bit of cacophony a lot of idiosyncrasies and as a result, next to impossible to pin down. As band-leader Carey Mercer tells us, their sound isn’t totally rock or avant-garde, it’s just what they like. What you see is what you get, and Frog Eyes is better for it.
