
In a recent update on their website, global indie stars Arcade Fire have urged all Canadians to vote in the upcoming May 2 federal election.
They describe current PM Stephen Harper’s policies as “destructive,” saying that “Canada is still a pretty good country, and worth fighting for.” There’s no actual indication of support for any particular party, just a couple of links to additional info on Harper as well as voting information.

It is about to be voting time. Our current leader has championed some pretty destructive initiatives on everyone’s behalf… it’s really important to get out and vote on May 2nd.
