While PS I Love You waits to see if their breakthrough 2010 debut full-length Meet Me At the Muster Station makes it past the first round and onto the Polaris Music Prize short list tomorrow, they’ve announced a sort-of new release for August 30.

Figure It Out: A Collection of Singles and EPs by PS I Love You will give us a glimpse at some of the Muster Station songs in their early forms (“Facelove” and “Scattered”), and will also include their recent single “Leftovers,” featuring Diamond Rings. The compilation will also feature a cover of Rush’s “Subdivisions,” which sounds like especially appealing offering from the Kingston guitar/drums duo.
