Nickelback released a new album called Here and Now. For many, this rules, and we are totally happy for you. If you’re anything like us (or fans of the Detroit Lions), this is actually just kind of annoying.

In the spirit of (and with the coding help of) Free Art and Technology Lab’s Shaved Bieber project, AUX Labs is pleased to present our Nickelblock plugin for Firefox and Chrome. Once installed, NICKELBLOCK will eliminate all mention of Alberta’s finest swamp heshers from your web browser. That’s it. You’ll never read about Nickelback again.

If you want to install it manually, you can download it from our FTP:

Chrome

Instructions for Firefox:
Go to Firefox > Add-ons > Install add-on from file>select the nickelblock.xpi file you downloaded.

Instructions for Chrome:
Unzip the nickelblock.zip file to any folder. Go to Chrome > Tools > Extensions > Load unpacked extension > select the unzipped nickelblock folder.

Seriously, that’s it.
