Someone tried to steal a $15,000 watch off A$AP Rocky’s wrist last night in London at the Camden Electric Ballroom and let’s just say it didn’t exactly go as planned. Sure, the set paused for a bit, but then the watch was recovered and based on Rocky’s request for the crowd to “Fuck that nigga up! Fuck him! Beat his ass!” we’re betting the culprit didn’t get out unscathed.

Hell, based on the crowd’s reaction once the show got going again, we’d say the incident if anything had the crowd more hyped than they obviously already were.

Someone alleging to be the venue manager posted on YouTube that nobody was hurt in the incident, and we can neither confirm nor deny whether the thief got out unscathed, but we can’t exactly feel for the guy, either. You’re at a concert where an artist is willing to interact with the crowd. Don’t ruin it by stealing personal property off his person. That’s the lowest of the low, and as we saw at South by Southwest, it can cause problems. You might remember his showcase in Austin turned into a big brawl when one of his mob members had a do-rag snatched from him. They stopped the show to ask for it back and before long beers were flying at the stage. That didn’t happen last night in London, but who’s to say it couldn’t have.

Here’s a thought: stop stealing shit from the A$AP Mob. Obviously they don’t take kindly to it. And why should they?
