Rainy day music here with Astronauts, etc.‘s song “Mystery Colors.”

I’ve only known of this artist for a few days now since he (Berkeley student Anthony Ferraro) dropped me an e-mail with a bunch of links. Right away I got sucked into the “crooning vocals over a simple, yet compelling, organ and drum machine backing” of his lead track.

Ferraro turned to electronic music when arthritis prevented him from pursuing a career in classical piano; the result is the Supermelodic Pulp EP (slated for release on September 8)  Each song will feature a sci-fi music video for each of its five tracks, with a loose narrative tying them together.
