I’m so dead I feel alive.

Toronto three-piece band Tearjerker are Micah (vocals, guitars), Trevor (drums, samples, production) and Taylor (bass, guitars, keys, design), and they’ve just released a new EP called Hiding, which is available on bandcamp and on limited edition cassette.

For fans of shoegazed indie rock (Youth Lagoon with a band?), you’re going to like this four-song EP. I recommend you actually start with the last track, “You Can.”

But, before you dive into their newest work, head back a bit to their late 2011 album Rare.  That album featured a song called “So Dead,” which just got an video (below) and is my official track of the week.

Here’s the video Directed by Fred Travert & Martin Sek and produced by ANIMALS FRANCE.

Also, while perusing soundcloud, I found the bands’ 2nd version of the track, which I might just like as much as the first.
