Prince is Prince, except for when he isn’t. Let’s elaborate: last night in Chicago, Prince gave the most convincing encore in recent memory when he made the crowd wait an hour after his set finish. Redditor crapidrawatwork says the house lights were off until midnight before they flicked onto reveal Prince’s band was setting up. Then the story gets weird.

Apparently, Prince had a body double on stage (weird) who was walking around shaking hands and hugging people when the real Prince “flew in on a bicycle” to run through “1999″ and “Red Corvette” to a half-empty stadium. There’s a video up top, though it’s a bit hard to make out.
