Anyone who was sceptical when Death Grips signed to Epic Records earlier this year might have been ready to eat crow after the smooth release of April’s The Money Store, but it looks like we might have been nervous for a reason.

Last night the group decided to leak their new album NO LOVE DEEP WEB out of spite to the record label.

Obviously oblivious to what a contract agreement is, they went ahead and posted a bunch of links to the new release (you can listen to their soundcloud stream of it below). Naturally, the label didn’t take too kindly to that, so they’ve since gone and shut the band’s website down.

Death Grips says shutting down their site was “BASIC AS FUCK,” but what did they expect? And hey, at least they haven’t dropped them for breach of contract. Yet.
