To be honest, we could have made a list a list of terrible lyrics using only songs released by Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, and 2 Chainz this year, but we decided to share the shade amongst a larger group of hip-hop's most popular emcees.
Even though 2012 saw the rise of Kendrick Lamar and the lyrically-minded Black Hippy crew, mainstream hip-hop is still plagued by careless lyricists focused more on getting faded than telling a story.
