Spotify offers Obama a job

Spotify wants Obama to become the President of Playlists.
Aside from the (endangered) Affordable Care Act and drone strikes, President Barack Obama will be remembered as a beatboxing, nu-metal singing music lover, even if his setup isn’t the greatest. Because of that, the soon-to-be-former leader of the free world has been offered a job by Spotify CEO Daniel Ek – that of the President of Playlists.
The offer was apparently made in reaction to Obama telling writer and wife to the U.S. Swedish ambassador, Natalia Brzezinski, that he was “still waiting for his job at Spotify… cause I know y’all loved my playlist.” Oh yeah, that old thing…
Tonight President Obama invited all of the Ambassadors he personally chose to an intimate reception at the White House. I finally got the chance to thank him for the life-changing appointment to Sweden. He said word for word: “I loved visiting you in Stockholm, it was my favorite trip. I plan to go back there really soon.” I told him I have the perfect opportunity for him to come visit and he told me “to send him the details on Brilliant Minds.” He also declared– “I’m still waiting for my job at Spotify… Cuz’ I know y’all loved my playlist.” I am still swooning.
Obama’s probably not going to be taking Ek up on his offer, and that’s probably not a real position, but maybe in 4-8 years Spotify will have more luck poaching another world leader. One who’s really, really into The Wall.
