Handshake Inc. has been kind enough to give us its first 7 ” release, “Forge”: two spine-shattering, doom-inducing, life-altering tracks by Arkansas sludge/crust/rock masters Rwake. Recorded live in Bozeman, Montana in June 2004, the tracks “Forge” and “Imbedded,” from the band’s seminal 2004 album “If You Walk Before You Crawl You Crawl Before You Die,” were mastered for hot wax by all-star engineer Billy Anderson (Neurosis, Melvins, Sleep). The 7″ was pressed extra special to coincide with Rwake’s performance at Maryland Deathfest 10, and comes in uber limited glow-in-the-dark vinyl and extremely limited black and clear marble, with artwork by Jeremy Hush. This release is vinyl only and will not be repressed. Play this one extra loud.
