Win tickets to see ‘Charles Bradley: Soul of America’ at the Open Roof Festival

AUX is proud to co-present a screening of the great music documentary Charles Bradley: Soul of America on Thursday, June 28th as part of the Open Roof Festival. The film documents the rise to fame of 63-year-old soul singer Charles Bradley, whose debut album took him from a hard life in the Brooklyn housing projects to Rolling Stone Magazine’s top 50 albums of 2011. The night will include a live performance by Army Girls, food by Toronto’s own Fidel Gastro, and more.

For those unfamiliar, the Open Roof Festival is a not for profit, outdoor music and film festival highlighting independent filmmakers and artists from Canada and around the world. It all happens at the Amsterdam Brewery (21 Bathurst St.). Doors open at 7:30 p.m., band begins at 8:00 p.m., and the film screens around 9:00 p.m.
