Last week Cee-Lo Green’s first single entitled “Fuck You” off his forthcoming album The Lady Killer, due out December 7, was released accompanied by a video showing off the nifty lyrics and background vocals. Today a proper music video has emerged featuring a cast and the artist himself showing his years as a youngin working in a diner all the way up being a supposed ‘Lady Killer’ as an adult. As Prefix points out, the track wouldn’t be so catchy if the mother of all swear words, the F – - – word wasn’t involved. Check out the video below.
Two Hours Traffic have put out a new music video for “Happiness Burns” from last year’s album Territory, their third. The band have a couple upcoming shows at home in Prince Edward Island and in New Brunswick.

The Drums have released a new black and white music video for the track “Down By The Water” off their self-titled debut album released this past June. Directed by the band with help from Surround’s Brian and Brad Palmer, the Brooklyn-quartet said they wanted the video to “directly reflect the song itself, and be as simple as possible. Both the video and song are a tribute to the girl groups of the 50’s and 60’s, a great inspiration to the band and one of the reasons we started it.”
As if Arcade Fire’s new album The Suburbs didn’t remind you of your hometown enough, a new interactive video has come out that visually brings you back to the very street your grew up on. The images come from Google Street View and display various scenes of your old, or in some cases current, home. The “video” opens multiple browser windows which interact with each other, through video and animation. Take a short trip home and watch the video over at The Wilderness Downtown.
In June Interpol released a music video for the track “Lights” off their upcoming self-titled record that dealt with a pheromone-harvesting ritual. Today the band have put out a new video for “Barricade,” also off the forthcoming disc, which is due out September 7. Though not as experimental as the last one, the new video displays all current members of the band and some nifty visuals featuring singer Paul Bank’s head on some torsos. Watch it below.
Wavves have put out a new music video for the track “Post Acid” off their third album King of the Beach. In the video all three band members befriend a slimy green alien who partakes in all things Wavves-related like skateboarding, playing guitar and crowd surfing. He even manages to hook up with a groupie before departing back to his home planet. John Norris, who formerly worked at MTV as on-air alternate anchor for Kurt Loder, makes a nice cameo at the start. Watch the video with the corny special effects below.
