One of the strangest music conspiracy theories continues as party ringmaster Andrew W.K. repeatedly denies allegations (which he ignited) that he is the construction of a group of people sitting around a table that call themselves record executives. The notion that a performance act could in any way be influenced by marketing people in the spirit of commerce has destroyed our faith in the music industry, really – it’s shocking.
