Although it would seem Wolf Parade has become more of a jumping point for some incredible side projects than a proper band as of late, the group has just booked a few April tour dates across eastern Canada, according to their myspace. They will later head off to the U.K for a few dates in May. Joining Wolf Parade, will be fellow Montrealers We Are Wolves.

Dan Boeckner has been busy with Handsome Furs and “going indie” with CNN (it’s actually pretty good), while Spencer Krug has been occupied with his effort Moonface, having just released the Dreamland EP: Marimba and Shit-Drums today. Wolf Parade will make stops in Quebec City but curiously not Montreal – You can actually hear the disappointed grunts of Mile End hipsters from Toronto if you listen closely.
