If you had tickets to see Weezer in concert this month, it looks like you're going to be disappointed. On Sunday, December 6, the bus carrying frontman Rivers Cuomo and his family from Toronto to Boston hit a patch of ice, crossed to the opposite side of the highway, went through a guardrail and landed in a ditch. Everyone is surprisingly uninjured; Cuomo's assistant suffered a few minor fractured bones, and Cuomo himself has three broken ribs and some internal damage. According to an update on Weezer's website, he is currently under observation in hospital, and they were "relieved to hear that surgery is unlikely." So, obviously, all upcoming concerts are cancelled, and will hopefully be rescheduled later (check the website for updates).
