7 Canadian bands you might not have known were god-fearing.
Every Friday, we round up a week’s worth of our exclusive concert photos into one big ol’ post for your perusal. In this one, we’ve got Comeback Kid at The Mod Club, Thin Lizzy at the Sound Academy, Queens of the Stone Age at the Sound Academy and The Residents at The Opera House.
Every week, AUX is taking two music videos and putting them head to head – fans vote for their favourite and the winner airs in power rotation on AUX. It’s a battle between songs, bands and fans.
On February 9 at 7:30 EST, Exclaim! TV’s Garageland, an all-punk interview and performance show, will debut on AUX TV.
Hailing from Winnipeg, melodic hardcore rockers Comeback Kid were out at the Opera House last night to support their fourth studio album “Symptoms + Cures”. Guitarist Andrew Neufeld describes the band’s excitement about the album. “We were just really stoked on how natural everything came out. We wrote the songs with red plastic cups in mind ― beer spilling over, fists in the air.” Comeback Kid clearly brought that same energy to the show last night with friends A Wilhelm Scream and Madball.
