00:01:30:08 that I had with a boy that was little bit younger than me.
00:01:35:19 It was on a trip that I took with my family
00:01:38:03 which was like no expectations,
00:01:39:25 I am just going to read in the sun, it's going to be great
00:01:41:28 and I happened to meet someone the night of
00:01:45:08 new year's eve 2008 and I was told because
00:01:48:17 he didn't speak English by his Spanish family
00:01:51:12 that he was 20 and then I later found out he 18.
00:01:54:29 So, yeah when I came back I had a song in my inbox,
00:01:59:28 an mp3 file and I just played it in my ear-phones
00:02:03:15 and like all this stuff came out
00:02:05:21 and it turned into 1, 2, 3, 4, get over here young boy.

00:02:23:25 Young boy video was shot at the EMI rooftop at 119 Spadina.
00:02:28:04 It was like minus freaking 10 that night
00:02:31:07 and I was this 6 inch heels like one size too small.
00:02:35:17 3 hours shoot with gushing winds at like 100 kilometers an hour.
00:02:39:27 It was pretty intense but I think we
00:02:42:23 well we definitely owe ourselves a pat on the back
00:02:44:28 for being troopers because we pulled it off
00:02:46:28 and it looks great.

00:02:57:17 don't be fooled it was actually the first music video
00:02:59:18 I ever shot and it was like the experience of a lifetime.

00:03:05:23 with rubber bands and I am sexy but I am like really scary too.
00:03:09:22 And then we go to like this straight jacket scene
00:03:13:00 and then it's just like a scene in the newspaper room
00:03:16:16 where I freak out and start tearing things off walls like...
00:03:18:26 it basically just is like a freak show
00:03:20:29 and I get to play all these four different freaks.
00:03:24:19 So, that's what I love about Miz Monday
00:03:26:14 she brings out the crazy in me
00:03:28:14 and we just had so much fun shooting together.

00:01:32:10 I always wanted to do music
00:01:35:02 but I think the universe kind of decided for me
00:01:39:01 the second time around when my show got cancelled
00:01:42:03 and I had the option of returning to television
00:01:45:02 in another form post-MTV
00:01:47:15 but I think when that show was taken off-air that was,
00:01:52:18 to me that was like a calling of some sorts.
00:01:55:22 All the televisions that I've had... a television experience
00:01:58:08 that I've had this far has been the most valuable tool
00:02:02:26 in like being comfortable in what I am doing right now.
00:02:05:22 It's thrust in front of the camera on a daily basis
00:02:09:25 like I think I gained a lot of experience
00:02:11:18 a lot of confidence and then also the team-man-ship
00:02:15:26 working with people, you know whether it's from
00:02:18:19 someone doing your hair and your makeup
00:02:20:02 like artists have this kind of like control thing
00:02:22:05 where you want to in charge of everything
00:02:23:27 but you can't really do anything on your own and
00:02:26:03 you are nobody without a great team of people working with you.
00:02:30:06 So, that was my first,
00:02:32:23 my first brush with that was definitely MTV.
00:02:35:17 And I also learned what I didn't want
00:02:37:03 which was to be interviewing people
00:02:38:21 and to be on the other side of the table.
00:02:41:16 I think I just took a detour in my life
00:02:43:20 so it's nice to be finally be back on track.
00:02:46:10 Canadian Idol was one of those things where
00:02:49:27 I kind of went against my gut of
00:02:53:25 I didn't really want to be on the show.
00:02:56:12 I guess I don't do well in like a competitive,
00:03:00:09 because I am super-competitive,
00:03:01:17 environment and I didn't want to put myself like on a stage
00:03:04:19 where I could be exploited and judged
00:03:06:16 but it was a great experience in the sense
00:03:09:20 that it gave me the television exposure
00:03:11:19 that I needed and it taught me a lot,
00:03:13:28 how to work within a team
00:03:15:16 and it obviously opened up the doors to working on eTalk
00:03:18:28 and then my later involvement with MTV
00:03:21:15 and that was a whole other school in it of itself.
00:03:24:18 It was like the university of the entertainment business
00:03:27:05 as I like to call it.
00:03:28:15 So, actually I just made that up on spot
00:03:30:03 but that's what I am going to call it from now on.

00:04:15:20 and color in this, purple, it just jumps out at you.
00:04:19:02 This is another beautiful image of Anna, close up shots.
00:04:22:28 She is giving you those eyes that are just kind of inviting
00:04:25:08 you into the photo and tells you she is very comfortable and
00:04:27:28 love what she is playing with the props that are around her.
00:04:30:24 Love this photo, it's just so girly
00:04:34:15 and punky at the same time,
00:04:36:06 a little bit of Madonna in there, a little bit of Aerosmith
00:04:39:01 and at the same she is probably changing after a show
00:04:41:28 to jump on her bike and speed off somewhere.
00:04:45:02 I am really loving this image, you can tell that the band is
00:04:47:12 having a lot of fun, and it pulls the audience in and just
00:04:50:19 kind of invites us and wanting us to have fun with them.
00:04:53:29 This is a really great shot, it's actually very dynamic,
00:04:57:02 there is a lot of action going on here, a lot of movement,
00:05:00:20 and it just makes you feel like the band is always in movement,
00:05:04:09 they are busy, go, go, go, I have got one show here,

00:05:07:22 And it just makes them look like this high style band
00:05:10:24 that they are.
