00:00:34:16 And to tie it all of them together, we are going to shoot
00:00:36:25 a profile shot of 3 TVs with Peter seating in front,
00:00:40:16 looking cool, it's going to be awesome.

00:00:44:09 As you know, today we are shooting the extremely talented
00:00:47:02 Peter-John from Let's Go to War,
00:00:49:08 let's take a look at their Band Foto Breakdown.
00:00:53:18 Peter-John or PJ is a front man lead singer
00:00:56:23 and primary songwriter of Let's Go to War collective.
00:01:00:03 Let's Go to War's debut album Karmageddon,
00:01:02:28 is a collaborative between PJ
00:01:04:23 and two of Canada's hottest producers,
00:01:06:18 Adrien Gough and Henry Walter.
00:01:09:15 Hip-hop, electro, reggae, folk and pop rock
00:01:13:19 have all been blended into potent hybrid.
00:01:16:01 LGTW will only describe it as
00:01:18:08 wandering through a digital garden.
00:01:20:24 There is a song for everyone on the album.
00:01:23:05 The band's first music video Life We Live
00:01:26:05 is basically a party in a song.
00:01:28:06 The band threw a party and turned it into a music video.

00:01:32:18 Their music video for the song Don't Love Me
00:01:34:24 was based on the idea that sometimes
00:01:36:23 we hurt, lie and cheat on the ones we love.

00:01:49:06 They also worked on Britney Spear's record Circus

00:02:21:20 and for another he is going to have a Barber smock on

00:02:27:19 And then for another look he is going to be sitting here with
00:02:30:08 suit on and he is going to look very like expensive and classy.
00:02:34:20 So it's really good, get to show some different styles today.

00:02:04:04 The whole scenario how Let's Go to War was kind of interesting.
00:02:08:20 I was playing in another band therefore...
00:02:11:05 Peter-John, just doing local gigs and what not, nothing huge.
00:02:16:13 And mutual friend of ours Aaron A, the director
00:02:19:16 suggested that we work together.
00:02:21:08 And so we hooked up and within, I think it was like five days
00:02:26:08 we finished four songs that were like insane.
00:02:30:05 And we submitted them to Last Gang
00:02:32:27 and based on those four songs...
00:02:34:02 we never even played a show together,
00:02:35:17 they signed us base off of that.
00:02:38:00 So that's how we hooked up so it's kind of a weird situation
00:02:41:06 in a sense that they produced the songs,
00:02:43:27 I could co-produce some of them
00:02:47:13 and I wrote the songs, we got together and it just worked.
00:02:52:26 I don't know, it's hard to explain.
00:02:54:22 At the time, I can't even describe to you that far
00:02:58:18 that I don't really know.
00:03:01:03 I didn't know that I was doing something that was going to
00:03:03:08 get me signed and get a record out and all that,
00:03:05:26 we were just making music.
00:03:07:03 We were in like a tiny little apartment of Young Street,
00:03:09:16 the booth that I was recording in, I was holding a mattress
00:03:12:26 with a microphone here.

00:00:16:10 and the landlord was a real prick so we were like,
00:00:19:12 oh yeah, alright, let's do a crazy party.
00:00:21:25 So we moved out all our stuff, we bought like 5 kegs,
00:00:26:04 we invited all of our friends over,
00:00:28:08 we had Nelly Furtado's dancers in there
00:00:30:20 and Anna Cyzon there, Kobe James,
00:00:33:07 Al-P from MSTRKRFT came in and they...
00:00:36:08 yeah it was out of control.
00:00:38:26 We just threw this crazy house party, all the footage is real
00:00:44:03 like every single dig in that video happened.

00:00:55:21 So Don't Love Me, the video is like,
00:00:58:09 it's kind of like a short film.
00:01:00:27 We have three scenarios, one is the father
00:01:04:13 who has a beautiful family,
00:01:07:06 the perfect suburb life, hates it, is out on his own,
00:01:12:06 cheating with a prostitute, what not.
00:01:15:17 His family still loves him and accepts him.
00:01:19:08 The second scenario is me with my girl,
00:01:22:29 I am in the studio working,
00:01:25:23 I have to leave her, she constantly thinks,
00:01:28:18 I am out doing something else so she is calling me,
00:01:31:05 yelling at me thinking I am out with some other girls
00:01:33:16 and what not then she comes out to the studio
00:01:35:15 to see that I am actually working.
00:01:37:28 The third scenario is a kid, he hugs his mom, leaves like
00:01:43:11 you know he is going to school with his napsack and what not.
00:01:46:02 But he actually goes out and starts selling drugs,
00:01:48:19 comes home at the end of day like he has been at school
00:01:51:04 and his mom loves him.
00:01:52:29 And I think the whole... hugs and kisses him,
00:01:55:28 the whole idea of the video is that
00:01:57:20 even though we are out sometimes, we have decided that
00:02:01:00 isn't as pretty as people like to think.
00:02:03:08 And we are out doing a lot of shit that we shouldn't be doing.
00:02:05:23 The people who truly love us, continue to love you
00:02:10:01 no matter what, unconditional love.
00:02:12:13 So the whole idea about that video was like
00:02:14:12 even when you are telling someone don't love me,
00:02:16:26 please like I am not good enough for you, don't love me.
00:02:20:12 If that person truly loves you, they won't listen
