This proves that Lady Gaga can’t do anything like a normal person — not even HEAL. She commissioned Ken Borochov of the luxury brand Mordekai to build a one-of-a-kind 24-karat gold wheelchair, with a black leather seat and a removable leather canopy, so she could recuperate from a recent hip injury in style.
Borochov had this to say about his design:
“I certainly wasn’t expecting that phone call and have never done a wheelchair but am always up for a challenge and was thrilled to create what I affectionately dubbed the Chariot, a chair fit only for a queen.”
Lady Gaga sustained a hip injury in the middle of the Born This Way tour, forcing her to cancel all remaining dates. The injury threatens to keep her from performing for as much as six months. If Drake had a wheelchair that looked like this on Degrassi, maybe people wouldn’t make fun of him so much.
